KANA launches new educational project under framework of EEA Financial Mechanism and Norwegian Financial Mechanism
KANA Gliwice starts implementation of a new educational project aiming at acquisition and development of skills in the use of Information and Communication Technology.
The project entitled: „Teach-IT.net – Model Vocational Development in the Field of ICT for Social Life Animateurs in South Poland”, will be implemented under framework of the EEA Financial Mechanism and the Norwegian Financial Mechanism and targeted at the following groups of beneficiaries:
- teachers
- local government staff members
- NGO staff members.
Modular training courses will be delivered through a ‘blended learning’ mode. Project participants will choose max. 2 of the courses offered (lasting one month each). The list of courses is as follows:
- ICT Basics
- Use of Selected Applications in Teaching Practice
- Integrating ICT with Classroom Teaching
- Use of ICT in Classroom - Practice
- Internet Services – Selected Didactic Uses
- Creating the Internet
- Distance Learning and Teaching
- Designing Multimedia Learning Objects
- Digitization of Materials
- The Art of Presentation
- WebQuest
The training courses will start in November 2008 and the registration of participants will commence in October 2008. Persons interested in participation will be able to register either through a specially designed project website or personally in KANA Gliwice office.
